When You Visit the Museum
You can . . .
Be a performer! Play the giant full-octave pan pipe or dress up in costumes and put on a play in the theater!

Play Veterinarian!
Sick animals need your care! Wear a lab coat, take a look at real animal x-rays on the light box and tend to the animal patients.
Visit a farm! Pick apples from a life-size tree and gather eggs in the barn. Sell your produce at the local farm stand! Cook in the playhouse!
Play with science! Science exhibits change three times each year. Currently at the museum:

Go outside. The museum has a full-sized, fenced-in yard with a giant play structure. Climb the wall, scale two castle towers, play on the slide, or swing on the swings!

ACM Reciprocal Visitors from participating children's museums:
Your Reciprocal Membership card will provide free admission to our museum for 2 adults and 3 children. Please note: your membership card must have the ACM logo and must list one of the adults by name. We reserve the right to ask for identification. Thank you!

Check-Out Museum Memberships
Six check-out membership cards are available from the Putnam County Library Children's Department and may be checked out by any adult with a current PCL Card.
These special museum memberships, which have been sponsored by the City of Cookeville, will admit two adults and two children to the museum free of charge for three visits in a two-week period.

Field Trips Available on Thursday Mornings during the school year
Field Trip Prices
Small Groups: (15 to 25 people): $4.00 per child. No minimum charge.
Five adult chaperones admitted free of charge.
Additional adults and siblings are $4.00 each.
Large Groups: (25 to 60 people): $2.00 per person, with a minimum charge of $75.00.
Two teachers admitted free of charge.
We accept cash, checks, and charge cards (MC, Visa, Discover).
Field trips require a completed reservation form and a $35.00 deposit, due prior to the field trip.

Exclusive use of the museum exhibits and activities for up to 2 hours

Deluxe Magical Birthday Party: $300.00
• 24 children and unlimited adult guests. 1 or 2 birthday children.
• A 20-minute magic show by Illusionist Justin Webb.
• 24 Magic cupcakes (extra cupcakes are $20 per dozen)
• 24 packages of Capri Sun, plus one pitcher of water and paper cups.
• 24 plates & 30 napkins, and two matching table cloths.
• A birthday candle for the birthday child’s cupcake.
• A birthday banner with your child's name.
• A t-shirt for the birthday child(ren).
• 24 Magical Party postcard invites.
• Two staff members will be present during the party to help with set up and clean up.
Cost: $300.00 for 24 children. Extra birthday children are $10.00 each (limit 4 total). Extra guests (children) are $7.00 each. This cost covers extra postcard invites, cupcakes, and paper products. Limit 30 children per party.
Deluxe Crawly Critters! Birthday Party: $300.00
• 24 children and unlimited adult guests. 1 or 2 birthday children.
• One hour of educational entertainment with Wildlife Specialist Holly Taylor and her reptile, amphibian, and/or insect friends.
• 24 Bug cupcakes (extra cupcakes are $20 per dozen)
• 24 packages of Capri Sun, plus one pitcher of water and paper cups.
• 24 plates & 30 napkins, and two matching table cloths.
• A birthday candle for the birthday child’s cupcake.
• A birthday banner with your child's name.
• A t-shirt for the birthday child(ren).
• 24 postcard invites.
• Two museum staff members will be present during the party and for set up and clean up.
Cost: $300.00 for 24 children. Extra birthday children are $10.00 each (limit 4 total). Extra guests (children) are $7.00 each. This cost covers extra postcard invites, cupcakes, and paper products. Limit 30 children per party.
Member discounts apply to all party packages.
The museum is available for party rentals on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m.
The museum will be open to parents 30 minutes prior to the party for set up.
* Food and beverages may be brought in to the museum; however we ask that you serve refreshments at the end of your party to minimize clean up and that you keep your refreshments in the lobby area.
* We require one adult for every 5 party guests attending the party. The adults are required for safety and supervision.
* Reservations must be made a minimum of four (4) weeks before the party. A 50% deposit is required at the time of reservation. The deposit is not refundable if the party is canceled less than seven (7) days prior to the event.
* Additional guests fee: $5.00 per extra child. Extra adults are free.
